Burgess Hill Cricket Club

Welcome to Burgess Hill Cricket Club on

2018 has been a wonderful year for our club. Having been crowned Sussex League Division 3 Champions on the last day of the season, Burgess Hill CC have been chosen as the Active Sussex Club of the Year. 

Our club is one of the leading clubs in Sussex and play their fixtures in the picturesque St John's Park close to the centre of Burgess Hill. Burgess Hill Cricket Club are proud to have been appointed by Sussex County Cricket Club and the ECB as a Focus Club for this area of the county. Burgess Hill Cricket Club has again achieved ECB Clubmark accreditation for a further 3 years which reaffirms our commitment to a safe, child friendly, junior section for both girls and boys. Every year the club works in association with Sussex County Cricket Club and is involved in some 100 hours of qualified coaching to children in primary and secondary schools around Burgess Hill.

Senior Cricket

Since 2008 the club has competed in the Sussex County League. Our 1st XI competes in Divisions 3E with the 2nd, 3rd and 4th XIs in Divisions 6C, 9C & 11C respectively. In addition our Ladies team play in the Sussex Foundation Cricket League and our Sunday Friendly XI play games against other local teams. From the 11th April adult outdoor nets will be in St John's Park every Wednesday evening from 6.00pm until dark.

Burgess Hill Youth Academy Cricket

Clubmark accredited with Focus Club status, the club has a strong and vibrant youth academy for girls and boys, with teams in the SCB Youth Leagues (U'7/8, U'9, U'10, U'11, U'12, U'13, U'14, U15, U16-18). They also play friendly matches whenever possible. Outdoor coaching for the BHCC Junior Academy is every Friday evening from 4.15pm for our girls and 4.30 pm for our boys starting from 13th April and at weekends during the summer in St John's Park under the supervision of fully qualified, DBS cleared, ECB Level 2 coaches. The Club is committed to providing coaching and cricket to youngsters, girls and boys, of all abilities in a safe and professional environment enabling them to have fun and fulfill their potential.
